Frank served as a Flight Officer & Navigator on B-17 (#43-37533), 511th Bomber Squadron, 351st Bomber Group, U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.
He resided in Erie County, New York prior to the war.
Frank was "Killed In Action" when his B-17 was hit by enemy flak over Berlin, Germany and crashed ner Treuenbrietzen, Germany southwest of Berlin during the war.
He was awarded the Air Medal and the Purple Heart.
