Carlton Gene Heath, 56, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, May 22, 2013.
A graveside service will be conducted Saturday at 2 pm at Chapman's Church Cemetery in Vanceboro.
Carlton was born in the Clayroot community of Pitt County, where he attended the Vanceboro Schools, and graduated from West Craven High School. He was employed with National Spinning Co. for nearly 20 years, and since 1998 was employed with Grady White Boats in Greenville. Carlton loved cars and was an avid NASCAR fan, especially of the Wood Brothers Racing Team.
Carlton was preceded of death by his parents, John Heath, Jr. and Lillie Mae Hudson Heath; and a stepson, Brandon Lee Wilkins.
He is survived by his:
wife, Sheri Lynne Henson Heath; daughter, Carli Stanley Woolard and husband, Christopher;brother, Mike Heath, all of Vanceboro; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 – 8 pm at Wilkerson Funeral Home in Vanceboro.
