Plus he was a Trustee of the North Mountain Meeting House, per Lyman Chalkley's Chronicles of the Scotch-Irish Settlement in Virginia...., Vol. 3, p 531 on 17 May 1773. 15 Apr 1777 land William Hays sold to James Mitchell, Chalkley's Vol. 3, p 550.
