IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Mary DeAnn Stanger, 62, of Idaho Falls, died February 10, 2002, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of natural causes.

She was born July 5, 1939, at Idaho Falls, to Glenn Steele Stanger and Ethel Holmgren Stanger. She grew up in Idaho Falls and attended Emerson Elementary and O. E. Bell Junior High School until she was involved in an automobile accident and was permanently disabled. She loved music, family gatherings, and visits from friends.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Surviving are:Brother: Craig [Cathi] Stanger, Idaho FallsSister: Paula [Stan] Stanley, Idaho FallsSister: Carol [Doug] Snarr, Idaho Falls, IDSister: Marci [Charles] Homer, Idaho Falls, IDSister-In-Law: Kathy Stanger, Idaho Falls 20 Nieces & NephewsShe was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Bruce Stanger, and a nephew, Michael Stanger.

Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2002, at the Wood Chapel of the Pines, with Bishop Charles Homer of the Idaho Falls LDS 15th Ward officiating.

The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the services on Wednesday at Wood Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls, Idaho 83402-4092.
