DAR Monument:
Monument erected October 19, 1929 by Cabell County Court under auspices of D.A.R. and S.A.R. to commemorate the soldiers of the Revolutionary War who are buried here and elsewhere in Cab. Co.

Parents: Daniel George Droddy (1726-1805) and Frances Elizabeth (Douglas) Droddy (1733-1800) (m: 1745).
