Funeral service for Michael Edward "Mike" Brashers will be 10 a.m., Sat., July 10, at First Christian Church, Chelsea, with Rev. Richard Billings officiating. Burial will follow at Chelsea Cemetery under the direction of Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service & Crematory.

Mike died Thurs., July 1, 2004, in Denver, CO, at the age of 30.

The son of Charles E. and Rose Mary (Rollman) Brashers was born Oct. 3, 1973, in Claremore. Mike had lived the past 5 years in Colorado where he worked as a ski instructor and in retail. Mike loved to visit new places, loved adventure and challenge, and enjoyed music.

He is survived by his parents of Broken Arrow; brother, Charles W. Brashers of Joplin, MO; paternal grandparents, Jesse and Velma Brashers of Chelsea; and several aunts and uncles.
