Suddenly, on July 20, JOHN H., in his 43d year, youngest son of Sarah Ann and the late William Ijams. The funeral will take place from the residence of his brother, Charles Ijams, No. 319 South Stricker street, on Sunday afternoon, July 22, at 2 o'clock. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Death In The Heat.
JOHN H. IJAMS, a carpenter, of 32 South Poppleton street, died early in the morning at the Maryland University Hospital from the effects of the heat. He had been working on a new building on the Frederick road, near Carroll.
On Tuesday he first complained of the heat. He continued at work, however, until Thursday afternoon. Upon returning home he complained of feeling so ill that he was advised to go to the hospital. He reached the hospital at half-past 8 o'clock and died six hours afterward.
Mr. Ijams was born in Baltimore nearly 43 years ago. His body was removed from the hospital to the home of his brother, Mr. Charles H. Ijams, 319 South Stricker street.
