Silas Howell, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. F. Howell, of Burnet county, died at Sawanee college, Tennessee, last week, and the body was shipped home for interment, arriving here Saturday night. The young man was at Sawanee attending school and was full of ambition and had promise of a successful life. This writer has known Bro. T.F. Howell for twenty years and joins with the many friends of the family in sympathy for them.
