Robert Zachariahs Roberts was born Saturday, February 7, 1857 to Isaac Roberts and Elizabeth Dunaway Roberts.
He married Mary Elizabeth Hill, a daughter of Albert Bailey Hill and Malissa Neal Kitchens Hill on Saturday, September 29, 1877.
The children of Robert and Mary Roberts are James Walter Roberts, Isaac Bailey Roberts, Robert Jasper Roberts and Maggie D. Brown.

Robert "Uncle Bob", who married Mary Elizabeth Hill, was a colorful character and everybody's favorite guest. He played the fiddle and danced well into his 90's. He also carved walking sticks and other items of wood.

Robert Z. Roberts Passes In Florida
Robert Z. Roberts, 95, father of R. J. Roberts, Moulton 2, died at 6 o'clock this morning at Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
The body is scheduled to arrive in Decatur Wednesday afternoon at 3:15. Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Mutual Service pending arrival of the body.
Surviving in addition to Mr. Roberts are a daughter, Mrs. Maggie Brown, Fort Lauderdale, and other relatives.

Roberts Rites To Be Held On Friday
Funeral services for Robert Z. Roberts, 95-year old farmer of Moulton 2, who died in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Monday at 6 a. m., will be held Friday at 2 p. m. at Johnson Chapel.
Rev. J. D. Shaddix will officiate and interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery, with Mutual directing.
Surviving are one son, R. J. Roberts, Moulton 2; one daughter, Mrs. Maggie Brown, Fort Lauderdale; 28 grandchildren; 80 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
