Robert S. Wheeler, 78, of Atlanta died Saturday, Jan. 18, 2003, at 3:26 p.m. at Maple Ridge Care Centre in Lincoln.
Mr. Wheeler was cremated, and there was no visitation.
Mr. Wheeler was a mechanic for the Schmidt Implement Company in Atlanta for several years before his retirement.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He was born Jan. 3, 1925, at Farmer City to Donald and Christa Hughes Wheeler. He married Alberta Bailey on July 20, 1947, at Farmer City. She survives.
He was preceded in death by one brother, one sister and one grandchild.
