Carl S. Burow, 89, of Confluence, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at his home. He was born December 28, 1925 in Bertha Hills, West Virginia, a son of Edward Albert and Ida (Clemence) Burow. His parents, a brother, Fred and a nephew Edward James Burow preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Leana (Thomas) Burow, who he married March 20, 1947; daughters, Barbara Jeeter and husband, Larry, Ellicott City, MD, Linda Davis and husband, Bruce, Linthicum Hts., MD and Carla Denhardt and husband, Michael, Pasadena, MD; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brothers, Dale, Baltimore, MD, and Robert and wife, Donna, Oklahoma City, OK; sisters, Helen Ryan, Massachusetts and June Hawkins, Lutherville, MD.

Carl and Leana lived in Glen Burnie, MD before returning to Confluence. He was a US Navy veteran of WW II and a member of the Masons.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM Sunday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence with the Rev. Samuel McClintock officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service. Interment in Addison Cemetery.
