Joseph Earley, 63 years, of Inverness, Fla., died Thursday at his home after a long illness. He lived most of his life on Peaks Island, Portland, Maine.
He was the son of the late George F. and Winnifred (Harris) Earley Sr., brother of, Matthew, George, Francis, Ruth, Lillian and Winnifred "Susie", one son, Shawn and a daughter, Dee. His wife, Jacqueline (Reed) Earley, died in 1989.
Joseph was a retired dredgeman in the marine construction industry and a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers.
A graveside service, Saturday in Brooklawn Memorial Park, 2002 Congress St., Portland.
