Eva Faye (Wood) Wallace:

Born 1-15-1918 at Purdon, Navarro County Texas. She was the daughter of Willie A. & Fannie Dell (Farmer) Wood. Her father passed away in 1949 and mother passed away in 1982. She has two sisters Edna (Wood) Dempsey and Eloise (Wood) Tickle. Edna passed away in 1996.

She was a tall willowy girl, and she like to play basketball. She was the captain of her basketball team in high school.

She married, Emmitt Cecil Wallace on 2-27-1935. Emmitt was born 7-7-1915 at Munday, Knox County Texas. Children are Marie & Bill Anderson & Billy Dan & Jean Wallace.

Her Grandchildren: Brenda & husband Ben Smith; Curtis Lee & wife Tammy Wallace; Ray Anderson; Jan & husband Harrell Braddock; David & wife Pam Anderson. She has eight Great Grand Children, Leslie & Trey Braddock, Tyler & Josh & Krystin Wallace Honea, Shawn and husband Dean Keith, Georgia Smith, Rachel & Jennifer Anderson & two Great-Great Grand Children, Chelsea Martin, & Deagan Patrick Keith.

Eva was an unselfish person. She always gave everything she had to her family. She was a very loving and caring person. She was always there for us and dad. She studied & read her Bible everyday. She prayed for her family every day. She wanted them to be good Christians. She was raised in the Methodist Church, but like an obedient wife, when she married, she attended the Church of Christ with dad.

She was a devoted mother & grandmother, a loving wife and a good friend.

We may have lost a wife, mother,grandmother and friend, but God gained another angel.She will never be forgotten!!
