Other: Died at Soldiers' Home, Dayton, Ohio. Died from disease contracted in Civil War. Pvt., Co. E, 12th Indiana Infantry. Charter member S. K. Harryman Post #278 GAR. He had been a blacksmith in Mooresville; worked with B.H. Perce. They had a business manufacturing and selling wagons, carriages and buggies as well as agricultural implements. Father of five children, three of whom preceded him in death. Born near Waverly, Ind. [Obituary says he was buried in Soldiers' Cemetery in Dayton; Mooresville Cemetery index lists him as buried in Mooresville.]
