Deceased Name: Francis J. Kelly Jr.

Francis J. Kelly Jr., 80, of Newport, died Monday at St. Luke Hospital East, Ft. Thomas.

He was a retired Catholic priest and organized the Study Club at Cathedral Basilica, Covington.

Survivors include sisters, Patricia Phillips of Skaneateles, N.Y., Rosan Bailey of Naperville, Ill., Marcia Stryker of Cincinnati and Mary Lou Harris of Middletown, Ohio; and a brother, James Kelly of Cincinnati.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent DePaul Church, Newport. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Cincinnati.

Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society, 7730 U.S. 42, Suite C6, Florence 41042, or Northern Kentucky Right to Life, P.O. Box 1202, Covington 41012.

Linnemann Funeral Home, Erlanger, is handling arrangements.
