Tyrone "Decil" Cumberland, age 38, of Hillsboro, OH, died Friday, June 1, 2007 at the Highland District Hospital. He was born June 5, 1968 in Greenfield, Ohio the son of John and Winifred Thomas Cumberland, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Sandy Blair Cumberland, to whom he married April 1, 2006 in Hillsboro; his father John Cumberland, Jr., of Hillsboro; sister Tina Cumberland, and four brothers, Scott (Cheryl) Cumberland, Tony Cumberland, Todd Cumberland, and Jonathan Cumberland, all of Hillsboro; children, Josh Captain, Jeremy Cumberland, Jenny Blair, and Stephanie Blair, all of Hillsboro, Tyler Foster of Georgetown, Kentucky, Jared Cumberland, Tyrand Cumberland, Taron Captain, Jordan Captain, and Trevon Cumberland, all of Hillsboro, and Trey Newman of Anchorage, Alaska; grandchildren, Bryana Captain, Kadence Captain, Jaya Cumberland, and Malachi Cumberland; best friends Allen Blair and Missy Bolden, both of Hillsboro, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded by his mother Winifred Cumberland; uncle Ed Cumberland; and aunt Brenda Coleman. Funeral services held June 6, 2007 at the New Hope Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
