Services for Joy Carol Lee Keithley, 68, of Durant, who passed away Thursday, July 31, 2008, at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Victory Tabernacle. Rev. Doyle Pair will officiate.

Joy was born Wednesday, April 24, 1940, in Calera to Milton Lee Mitchell and Frances Lorene (Zachary). She was a member of Victory Tabernacle. She loved to cook, sew and spend time with her family.

Joy was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her sister Neta Knipe of Durant; sons Donnie Taylor of Durant and Neal Keithley of Silo; daughters Sherry Glasscock and Rexala (Shelley) Keithley, both of Durant; daughter-in-law Penny Keithley of Silo; granddaughters Tara and Ashton Keithley of Silo, Jenney Glasscock of Vinegrove, Ky., Savannah Taylor of Wilburton and Salena Eckelhoff of Durant; grandsons Dalton and Dustin Blackwell of Durant, Anthony Glasscock and Cody Taylor of Durant and Lee Taylor of Tishomingo; great-granddaughters Elizabeth Keithley of Silo and Kaylee Glasscock of Durant; 10 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Interment will be at Highland Cemetery in Durant. Pallbearers will be Roger Halford, Nathan Parson, Tony Quinlin, Michael Weekley, Nick Taylor, Christian Taylor, Dustin Blackwell and Dalton Blackwell.

Family hour will be held today at 7 p.m. at Dalton-Holmes Funeral Home.
