She married Royce Samuel Ivory on June 9, 1950, in Palestine, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father. She was survived by her husband; daughter, Karla Jo; mother, Blanche; sisters, Margie Bernard, and Jean Novak; and brothers, Thomas Hiram "Bud" Jr., and Jack.
