Celebration of Life: Friday, May 7, 2010

Bobby Day, age 61, of Spicewood, Texas, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2010, after an extended illness. Bobby was born in Laurel, Mississippi to Hazel and James Day. Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Kyle, son Preston, daughter Kelsey, brother Jimmy and his wife, Katie.

He graduated from "Ole Miss" University. After pursuing a career in professional golf, he moved to the Texas Hill Country and began selling real estate in Lakeway, Texas. His passion for golf and friendship with professional golfer Arnold Palmer led him to develop Lakecliff on Lake Travis, Hidden Hills (now Barton Creek Lakeside) and Tierra Vista overlooking the Pedernales River.

A celebration of Bobby's life will be held on Friday, May 7th at 6pm at Lakecliff on Lake Travis, 1700 Kahala Sunset, Spicewood, Texas 78669. This celebration will be outside and casual.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Michael's Catholic Academy, Attn: Lisa Sikora, 3000 Barton Creek Blvd., Austin, TX 78735 or a charity of your choice in honor of Bobby.
