A graveside service for Elenora L. McDonald of Salem will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Amity Cemetery, Amity.
The chapel of Macy & Son Funeral Directors, McMinnville, will be open for visitation until 7 p.m. today.
Mrs. McDonald died Aug. 23, 1999, in Lancaster Village Retirement Center, Salem. She was 67.
She was born April 8, 1932, in Watsonville, Calif., the daughter of John Wayne and Lonely Jewell Hagan Downs. She was raised and educated in Watsonville.
She moved to McMinnville in 1978 and to Sheridan in the mid-1980s. She had lived in Salem since the early 1990s. A lifelong homemaker, she loved country western music.
Survivors include a daughter, Debrah Whitlow of Amity; a son, Jody Kiefert of California; a sister, Glenda Johnson of McMinnville; two brothers, E.A. Downs of McMinnville and Wayne Downs of Independence; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, O.D. Downs.
