Mrs. Ellen C. Ramey, who suffered an attack of heart failure Friday evening at 6 o'clock, died suddenly Saturday morning at 7 o'clock at her home on West Houston Street. Mrs. Ramey was the widow of Rufus Ramey, who died in this city July 9, 1907. Her maiden name was Ellen C. Ramey and she was born in Vinton County Hamden, September 24, 1846. She leaves surviving two sons, Marshall Ramey, of Columbus, manager of the Bell Telephone Company; Benton Ramey, and two daughters. Mrs. Samuel Hawks and Miss Emma Ramey, of this city. She also leaves one brother, James Ramey, of Vinton county. Deceased had been a resident of this city for twenty years. Burial was In the Hitler-Ludwig Cemetery.
