Bob was born in Niagara Falls, NY, and moved to Homosassa in 2003 after 12 years of retirement in Ballybunion, Ireland. He retired as senior vice president of pensions at the Hartford Insurance Company in 1989. His lifelong hobby was golf, and he was a life member of the Ballybunion Country Club.
Robert is survived by his wife of 56 years, JoeAnn, of Homosassa; children Bob and Jody; grandchildren Amy Jo, Roger, Brendan and Kathleen; great-grandchildren Gannon, Gabriele, Giane and Grace; and brothers Ronald and Richard.
A memorial service will be held for Bob at the First United Methodist Church in Homosassa, at 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 24. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Hospice of Citrus County, P.O. Box 641270, Beverly Hills, FL, in Bob's memory.
