Sharon Lee McDaniel Rathbone, age 55, of Cale Way, Clyde, NC passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, April 7, 2008 at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer.
A native and life long resident of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late William Edward and Viola Franklin McDaniel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David McDaniel and two sisters, Betty Haney and an infant sister, Mary Ann McDaniel. Her pride and joy was her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing and going to yard sales. She was a member of Crabtree Baptist Church.
