MRS. IDA SMITH DIES AT HOME OF DAUGHTER
Funeral Rites for Former Callao Resident This Afternoon
Mrs. Ida B. Smith, 76, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Addie Snell, Saturday at 5:30 p. m. She had been in failing health for about six years.
Formerly of Callao, Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, James Smith, five years ago, and since that time has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Snell.
She is survived by four sons, Roy H. Smith and Norris Smith of Kansas City; W. R. Smith of Springfield, Mo.; one daughter Mrs. Addie Snell; a brother, P. G. Cook of Callao; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at 1 o’clock at the Callao Christian Church, conducted by Rev. Kring Allen. Burial was in the Callao Cemetery under the direction of Stephens and Goodding.
