Brady Loyd Kelley

Brady Loyd Kelley, age 83 of Isonville, Kentucky passed peacefully into the arms of praise and glory on Monday, September 17, 2007 at 4:24 p.m. at Kings Daughters Medical Center, Heart and Vascular Center in Ashland, Kentucky.

He was born January 20, 1924 in Sarah, Kentucky, son of the Late Haskell B. Kelley and Rosie Barker Kelley.

Brady was a retired custodian for the Elliott County Board of Education and a World War II United States Army Veteran.

Brady was baptized into the Beech Grove United Baptist Church in March 1949, where he remained a faithful member until December 29, 1984, where he became a charter member of the Fannin Chapel United Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, Elder, and Clerk for the past several years.

He was preceded in death by his Parents; Haskell B. Kelley & Rosie Barker Kelley, Daughter; Edra Kay Kelley, Granddaughter; Holly May Kelley and a Great-Granddaughter; Taylor Layne Lewis.

Brady was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and Uncle and will be sadly missed by all his many Family & Friends. We feel that our loss will be Heaven's gain.

Brady is survived by his loving Wife of 59 years; Alva Gilliam Kelley of Isonville, Kentucky, a Brother; Buell Kelley of Ashland, Kentucky, 2 Sons; Billy Dale & Cathy Kelley and Haskell & Lizzie Kelley both of Isonville, Kentucky, 2 Daughters; Edna Lee & Homer Lewis of Isonville, Kentucky and Sherry Kelley & Lonze Turner of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, 10 Grandchildren; Jennifer & Bill Wright of Isonville, Kentucky, Cindy & Phillip Ison of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, Homer & Kim Lewis of Isonville, Kentucky, Justin Kelley of Isonville, Kentucky, Joshua & Kathy Kelley of Mazie, Kentucky, Beth & Chris Stevens of Isonville, Kentucky, Glenna & Haskell Kelley Jr. of Isonville, Kentucky, Tammy Kelley of Sandy Hook, Kentucky and Chris & Danny Skaggs of Olive Hill, Kentucky, 8 Great-Grandchildren; Andraya, Morgan and Makenzie Ison all of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, Braxton and Chassity Kelley of Morehead, Kentucky, Christopher and Ashleigh Stevens of Isonville, Kentucky, Ali McDowell of Sandy Hook, Kentucky and Jonah Kelley, Noel Skaggs and Andy Skaggs of Olive Hill, Kentucky, a Nephew; Keith & Leanna Kelley of Ashland, Kentucky; 2 Great-Nephews; Robert & Brandon Kelley of Ashland, Kentucky; 1 Step-Grandchild and 3 Step-Great-Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday September 20, 2007 at Fannin Chapel United Baptist Church at Beech Grove Road in Isonville, Kentucky with Elder Eulas Adams, Elder Denzil Jenkins, Elder Melvin Wright, Elder Bruce Fyffe and Elder Clarence Mathis. Burial will follow with Interment in the Kelley Family Cemetery at Beech Grove Road in Isonville, Kentucky.

The Family of Brady Loyd Kelley will be receiving Friends for visitation at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Fannin Chapel United Baptist Church in Isonville, Kentucky.

Honorary Pallbearers: Buell Kelley, Phillip Ison Jr., and Haskell Kelley Jr.
