He resided in Baltimore, Maryland prior to the war. He was originally from Norway.
Ole was declared "Missing In Action" when the S.S. Equipoise was hit by a torpedo from German submarine U-160 and sunk off the coast of Virginia during the war. He was awarded the Mariner's Medal.
His remains were not recovered.
