Lee Alysious Delmas, 97, of Pascagoula, died Tuesday, May 24, 1988. Mr. Delmas was born June 21, 1890, in Scranton (Pascagoula) and was a fourth generation of the Delmas family and third son of I.P. Delmas and Bertha Poitiven Delmas. He was employed in the tool room at Ingalls Shipbuilding before his retirement in 1963 at age 72. Prior to his Ingalls employment he was desk sargeant with the Pascagoula Police Department. In earlier years he was owner of Delmas Seafood Company.

Mr. Delmas was a charter member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1605 in Pascagoula and was an active member of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church. He graduated from Pascagoula High School in 1909.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Augusta Miller Delmas, whom he married on Oct. 28, 1914, two daughters, Mrs. C.W.(Sarah Lee)Riley and Mrs. Roberts L.(Mathilde)Bodden.
