Funeral services were held Saturday, January 31, at 2:00 p.m. at Markwell & Son Funeral Home in Casey with the Rev. Hugh Smith officiating. Visitations were held from noon until service time on Saturday. Burial was in the Hazel Dell Cemetery in Hazel Dell, Ill. Pallbearers for the service were Monte Chapman, Dustin Chapman, Marshall Taggart, Victor Taggart, Ray Leohr and Jed Richardson. Music was by Eleanor Markwell.
Marjorie Taggart was born February 27, 1898 in Cumberland County, Illinois to William H. and Celista Ota (Sartor) Taggart. She is survived by a good friend and neighbor, Phyllis Ragon of Casey. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Walter Taggart.
Ms. Taggart was a homemaker.
