MERCED, Jan. 31 - Funeral services under the auspices of the Mariposa Lodge of Masons will be held in Tiscornia, Ivers & Alcorn Chapel in Mariposa tomorrow at 2 P.M. for James Harlan Helm, 74, who died in Mariposa Monday.
Helm, a lifelong resident of Mariposa County, was born in the Le Grand district and was widely known throughout this area.
He leaves four sisters, Mrs. Lucy Reed, San Jose; Mrs. Maude Duncan of Willows, Mrs. Gladys Southward of Le Grand, and Mrs. Ella Evans of Chico. A brother, Henry Helm of Chowchilla, also survives.
