LITTLE YORK — Sharon L. "Sheri" Bellinger, 61, Little York, died at 3:35 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15, 2008, at her residence.
Bellinger was born Jan 7, 1947 in Keithsburg, the daughter of Carl S. and Betty Louck Krusmark.
She was raised in Keithsburg and attended Keithsburg Schools.
She married Lloyd A. Bellinger on Aug. 13,1979 in Las Vegas, Nev. He survives.
Bellinger worked at Western Stoneware in Monmouth, for a number of years. Early on in her marriage to Lloyd, she was homemaker and was very much a part of their trucking and excavating business doing the books and keeping track of phone calls. She was a wonderful asset to the business. Sharon also worked at PASS Adult Education in Monmouth, in housekeeping for a time.
Bellinger enjoyed cooking, reading, planting flowers, mowing, shopping, going out to eat, creating specialty pottery at Western Stoneware in the lab, buying gifts for others and wrapping them beautifully to give and being with her family. She was always doing something for someone else -giving her time and resources to others.
In addition to her husband, Lloyd A. Bellinger, Little York, she is survived by two daughter, Tia R. (Mike) Walters, Kirkwood, Diana (Jerry) Rupe, Little York; five sons, Dana Fuller, Monmouth, Todd D. (Alecia) Cosgrove, Port Orchard, Wash., Terry (Penny) Bellinger, Little York, Wesley (Nikki) Bellinger, Monmouth and Lloyd E. Bellinger, Oneida; her mother, Betty Krusmark, Keithsburg; 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Carol (Dave) Wagner, Altamonte Springs, Fla.; and two brothers Kendall Krusmark, Keithsburg and Bob Krusmark, Little York.
She is preceded in death by her father, one brother David Krusmark and one son David Bellinger.
Cremation has been accorded. No services are being planned by her family. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established for either St. Mary Medical Center or American Cancer Society.
