Dora May Winkler
Dora May Winkler, 93, a resident of the Jackson Nursing Home, passed away at 7 am Thursday. She had served as a cook at the City Hospital for 16 years.
Born in Franklin, Indiana, February 4, 1887, she was the daughter of Jefferson and Mary White Winkler. She lived in Rushville since 1894.
She was a member of the Main Street Christian Church and was a member of the Rebekah Lodge in Rushville.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Among them are Mrs. Frances Hauk of Rushville and Byron Smith of R.R.. 7. She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Services will be held at 10 am Saturday at Moster and Sons Mortuary in Rushville with Howard Dungan officiating. Friends may call from 3 to 8 pm Friday. Burial will be in East Hill Cemetery.
