He moved from Ralston about 12 yrs of age and moved to South Omaha where he lived the remainder of his life. He graduated from South High School in 1940. He married Marguerite Stange on Oct 30, 1946. A daughter Judith, was born 7/6/1950. He worked all his life with printing ink and retired when he was 65. Preceded in death by parents, Fred and Jennie and brother Richard. Survived by wife, Marguerite; daughter, Judith (Terry) Comstock, Gretna; granddaughters, Jennifer (Jeff) Boettcher, Heather Comstock, both of Lincoln; 3 great grandchildren, Max, Jackson and Carson Boettcher; brother, Jack Carr, AZ; sister, Betty Glasshoff, Wahoo; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. Member of Ralston United Church of Christ.
