Ella L. Haas, age 92, of Bloomingdale, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at the Alamo Nursing Home. Ella was born Aug. 7, 1923 in Allegan, the daughter of Charles and Ethel Clawson and has lived in the Bloomingdale area the majority of her life.
She was a hard working person that was a wonderful cook. Ella was a wonderful grandmother that would do anything with them.
Surviving are her children, Charlene (Frank) Vizner of Grand Junction, Rose Haas of Bloomingdale, Mike (Carol Christie) Haas of Bloomingdale, Dorothy Hall of Bloomingdale, Greg Bandick, Sue Smith of Bloomingdale; 11 grandchildren, Bob Haas, Cheri Bandick, Jennifer Welsh, David Vizner, Shannon Machaud, Sara Lasco, Lindsey Hall, Joe Hall, Amy McMann, Nick and Travis Christie; 13 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester; son, Richard Haas; sister, Stella Busfield; and a brother, John Clawson.
According to her wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be at a later date.
