Cooper Francisco Ortiz,10, of Olathe, Kansas, died on Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at St. Louis Children's Hospital from congenital heart disease. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, July 2, at Hillcrest Christian Church, 11411 Quivira, Overland Park, Kansas, 66210. A memorial visitation will precede the service from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Please, come as you are. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald Family Room, St. Louis Children's Hospital, #1 Children's Place, St. Louis, Missouri, 63110. Cooper was born on July 10, 2000, in Manhattan, Kansas. He attended Ravenwood Elementary School in Olathe. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bill Henry and his grandmother, Alma Pacheco. He is survived by his mom, Erin Ortiz of Olathe and his father, Pedro Ortiz of New York; sister, Bella Ortiz of New York; GaGa, Jackie Henry; uncle and aunt, Brad and Kimmi Henry; cousins, Charli and Will Henry, TiTi Krystal Gonzalez, and Jenna Cheveres; Tio Anthony Corivano; other family members and friends too many.
