WILLSEYVILLE - Douglas Grant Bordenet, 48, of Ithaca Road, Willseyville, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2005 at the Cayuga Medical Center, Ithaca, NY.
Born December 26, 1956 in Ithaca, the son of the late Ethel Bessie Hufton and Frank Earl Bordenet and brother of the late Ronald Bordenet.
Douglas worked in the shipping and receiving department of the Blue Light Company in Ithaca. He lived in Willseyville over thirty years, loved racing and building model cars.
He is survived by his loving companion, Cheryl Stone, Willseyville; his son, Shawn (Karyn) Little, Willseyville; his daughter, KD Bordenet, Freeville; three brothers, Richard (Joan) Bordenet, Danby, NY, Frank Bordenet, Ithaca and Carl Bordenet, Apalachin, NY; a sister, Marcelle (Jeffery) Bowen, Vestal, NY; a grandson, Cody Little; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call Saturday, October 29, 2005 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Candor Funeral Parlour, Inc., 137 Main Street, Candor, NY. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Ed Foote of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating.
