Buried to the south of mother Daisy, who is beside her husband William Clay Hughes Sr.
Billy had severe epilepsy and was unable to attend regular schooling. He lived with his parents (and after his father died, with his mother) all of his life. The doctors told him in early adulthood to take up smoking as a way of managing his seizures. He died of lung cancer.

Uncle Bill, thanks for thinking of cousin Pam and I when you fixed jewelry, sometimes giving us pieces out of the blue. They weren't valuable monetarily, but seemed like riches to us kids. I'm sorry you didn't get to have a better life, physically.|
