Grover was the son of Sarah "Sallie" Langston and Thomas Newton Bottoms. He grew up near Waldron, Arkansas. He and his wife, Addie, were the parents of six children. Grover's sister Nellie Mae Bottoms is also buried at the Little Cemetery.

Grover Bottoms
STILLWATER--Former longtime Seminole resident and retired City of Seminole employee Grover C. Bottoms of Cushing died Friday in Stillwater Medical Center. He was 93.

Funeral services are scheduled for 12 noon Monday at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lester L. Bottoms officiating. Burial will be in Little Cemetery.

Born Nov. 19, 1892, in Scott County, Ark., Mr. Bottoms was employed by the City of Seminole with the sewage disposal system from 1929 until 1958, when he retired. He moved to Cushing in 1973.

He served with the U.S. Army Medical Corps during WWI and was a member of the American Legion Post 204 in Seminole. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Mr. Bottoms and his wife, Addie Bell, were married July 17, 1923, in Holdenville.

Survivors include his wife, Addie, of the home; three sons; two daughters; 19 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
