Worked for the Bellingham Herald newspaper until his untimely death from heart failure at home. Loving husband to my Mother Maxine Vogt for 29 years. Had 3 step kids, Jay Duffield, Jeff Duffield, and Joy Sweet, none of his own. Lived in Ferndale. Loved wood working and serving at the Grace Lutheran Church in Blaine. Preceeded in Death by his Sister Carolyn, and his Mother and Father. Has one Brother, David Vogt of Snohommish Wa.
