Apparently Jane Garlinghouse Belknap was married to Jesse Belknap, not Jonas Belknap. It was her younger sister, Mary Ann Garlinghouse Belknap that married Jonas. I can't find a grave for her. I'm looking into the idea that she MAY have been the widow or divorced Mary A. Belknap that married a Mr. Scott, and is buried in Salem, Oregon. Not a shred of proof yet.

Jane Garlinghouse was married to Jesse Belknap February 20, 1812. They had 7 children. Two of their children, Ransom Ames Belknap and Hannah Belknap came to Oregon Territory in 1847 and Jesse Belknap and Jane Garlinghouse Belknap were among those who came in 1848.
