Nicholas Kotsanos, 86, of Reynoldsburg, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2008, surrounded by his loving family. Born to James and Katina (Dragas) Kotsanos in Lima, OH on October 1, 1921. Nicholas is preceded in death by his parents and 4 brothers. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Shirley (Daugherty) Kotsanos; son, M. John (Rachel) Kotsanos; daughters, Sharry (Mo) Daniels and Koukla Anna (P.J.) Cashdollar; grandchildren, Jonathan Nicholas Kotsanos, Nicholas James Daniels, Zander Christian Daniels, Paul Clayton Cashdollar, Kristianna Nicole Cashdollar; sisters, Mary (Robert) Thomas and Ethel Chakeres; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Nicholas was a pilot instructor for the US Army Air Force. Through his integrity and character, Nicholas defined pure goodness. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2008, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, April 28, 2008, 12Noon at Grace Apostolic, 1170 Lancaster Avenue, Reynoldsburg, OH with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.
