Darry Lee Brown, of Chesapeake, passed away suddenly on Friday, October 16, 2015 at the age of 49 years. He was born on September 22, 1966 in Virginia Beach, VA to Harry Lee and Linda Hartley Brown.

Darry is preceded in death by his father Harry Lee. Left to cherish his memory are his mother Linda; son Spencer Lee; daughter LeeAnn; soulmate Lynn Winslow; and canine companion Daisy.

Darry was a dedicated and hard worker at Suffolk Contractors, Inc construction, and in his personal time, found satisfaction from helping other people.

Memorial Service for Darry will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015 at Altmeyer Funeral Home-Southside Chapel (5792 Greenwich Rd. Virginia Beach, VA) at 6:00 PM. Following the celebration of Darry’s life at the funeral home, the family will greet friends at their residence.

In lieu of flowers, contributions appreciated to Habitat for Humanity-South Hampton Roads Chapter.

He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.
