HAMPTON - Mr. James E. Barnes Jr. peacefully entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2010.
He was the first of two children born to the union of the late James E. Barnes Sr., and the late Elaine R. Mosley, on July 2, 1949 in Hampton, Va.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Chrystal; his brother, Richard A. Barnes of the Philippines; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of friends and relatives.
A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 20, 2010, at First Baptist Church (Hampton), 229 N. King Street, Hampton, Va. The Barnes family is receiving services of comfort by the staff at Nickelson-Cummings Funeral Home, 4304 Victoria Blvd., Hampton.
