Pat was born April 6, 1943 in Rochester, New York to Arleen (Braman) Goyette and J. Leon (Lee) Goyette. She grew up in Rochester suburbs Brighton and Pittsford, graduating from Our Lady of Mercy High School and in 1965 received a B.A. degree in English and Journalism at Our Lady of Good Counsel College in White Plains, NY. Upon graduation she worked as a writer and editor at the Rochester headquarters of Eastman Kodak Co.
She married Paul Gibson Erickson in 1971, to whom she was happily married for 43 years. They resided in the Kansas City area since 1976 and owned a successful executive recruitment firm in Overland Park, KS for over 20 years before retiring and enjoying winters in Florida and Arizona. Their shared passions include children, grandchildren, gardening and travel. Pat loved reading, crossword puzzles and foreign films, but her favorite pastime was spent as "nana" to her grandchildren.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 43 years, Paul G. Erickson; son Randy and wife Linda of Olathe, KS; daughter Christina Hoffman and husband Dean of Prairie Village, KS; brother Doug and wife DJ of Pittsburgh, PA; grandchildren Aidan, Avery, Eleanor, Karlie, Parker and Sarah.
