He was a retired grader operator for International Paper Co. and a member and deacon
of Faith Missionary Baptist Church.
Mr. Hancock was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold "Bud" and Doyle Hancock.
Survivors include: his wife of 62 years, Euple Jones Hancock; one son, Hershel
Hancock; two daughters, Reba Altom of Star City and Barbara Mays of El Dorado: one
sister, Ola Mae (Jane) Wilson of Texarkana; six grandchildren; six
great-grandchildren.
