KELLEY. George W. Kelley, Jr., of Hillstown Rd., Glastonbury, husband of Dorothy (Ruff) Kelley, died Tuesday, (April 16, 1996) in a local convalescent home.
Born in St. Albans, VT, he lived in Glastonbury many years. He was a former partner of Arts' Septic Tank Service of Glastonbury and recently, he had worked for Performance Center of America as a truck driver. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and was a member of Post No. 42 American Legion in Vermont. He was an avid bowler.
In addition to this wife, he leaves two sons, Brian of East Hartford and Stacy of Glastonbury; and his mother, Evelyn Adams Kelley of Vermont.
Funeral service will be Saturday, (April 20), 10:30 a.m. in the Glastonbury Funeral Home, 450 New London Tpk., Glastonbury, with burial in Buckingham Cemetery with full Military Honors. Friends may call at the funeral home, Friday, (April 19), 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Helen and Harry Gray Cancer Center, 85 Retreat Ave., H artford, 06105.
