Born in Montgomery, Lycoming County, PA, on Saturday, January 21, 1928, he was the son of the late George L. and Evelyn Ernestine (Burrows) Pick.
He was the husband of Jacqueline (Crandell) Pick with whom he celebrated a 57th wedding anniversary on September 21, 2004.
Dale was a 1947 graduate of Montgomery High School. He served during the Second World War with the U.S. Navy aboard the destroyer USS Power in the Mediterranean Theatre. He was a planker of the USS Power.
Dale was employed by Ceraln at Williamsport, PA retiring in 1990. He was also the proprietor of the former Sun Upholstery Shop at Montgomery and was currently the head ranger at the White Deer Golf Course.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church at Montgomery, PA. Dale was a former member of the United Commercial Travelers and the Bald Eagle Archery Club. He was a member of the White Deer Golf Club and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, bowling, golfing, playing cards and entertaining his family.
