Obituary

Richard Tony Graham was born September 1, 1950, to Nathaniel Toney Johnson Graham and Mildred Cleo Kelly, both of whom preceded him in death. He was blessed to be identical triplets with Robert Paul Graham, and Raymond Charles Graham who also preceded him in death. Richard attended Millard Fillmore Elementary School, Jefferson Jr. High, and U. S. Grant High School, graduating in 1968 from U. S. Grant with scholarships. While in high school Richard, played violin. His brother Robert, and his sister Linda, joined him in playing with the Oklahoma City Junior Symphony. They all three were able to perform with the Jr. Symphony in 1965 when they traveled to the New York World's Fair. Richard graduated from Oklahoma State University in Engineering. He then served as Machinist Mate 2nd Class in the Navy from 1970 to 1976, part of the time being assigned to the USS Enterprise, one of America's nuclear super ships. While on the Enterprise, Richard gained the experience he needed to later work with Oklahoma Gas & Electric in their nuclear plant as a Shift Supervisor. He retired from OG&E after 17 years of service. Surviving family members include his sister Linda Kay Graham Christie and nephews Jonathan Allen Christie, Jared Nathaniel Christie, Jarom Andrew Christie, Jeffrey Graham Christie and Jason Ryan Christie, in addition to great-nephews Ryder Nathaniel Christie, Paxon William Christie, and great-niece Emma Maureen Christie. Valoree Brown Graham, his sister-in-law, survives with her children Cory Michael Graham, David Ryan Graham and Amber Michelle Graham.
