Of Late Squire John W. Broyles of Dumontville Passes Away at City Hospital of Paralysis


The death of Mrs. Amanda E. Broyles, widow of the late, Squire John W. Broyles of Dumontville, occurred at the City Hospital last evening at 7:30 o'clock of paralysis. She had been at the hospital for seven weeks.

She is survived by a niece, Mrs. David Alexander of 509 Pierce avenue. One brother, Mr. Harry Fisher, of Akron, also survives to mourn. Mrs. Broyles was 77 years of age.

Her body was taken to the Frank E. Smith undertaking parlor last evening and Saturday morning was removed to the home of her niece on Pierce avenue.

The funeral will be conducted privately from the Alexander home on Monday afternoon at two o'clock by Rev. Yost.

The friends will be permitted to view the remains Sunday afternoon and Monday till 1 p. m.

The body will be placed in the vault at Forest Rose cemetery to await interment after the ice goes away.
