Olive Bernice McLaughlin Glidden Morton , "Bunny," 84, went home to be with the Lord March 19, 2009, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Feb. 7, 1925, in Cape Cod, Mass., the daughter of Isaac and Alice McLaughlin.

She loved to be surrounded by her family and was the day she passed. She will be sadly missed by all of them. She will also be missed by her friends at Riverhouse Apartments, Old Town. She loved playing cards and Beano.

She is survived by six children, Leo Glidden Jr., Brenda and Omah White, Warren and Celia Glidden, and Debra and Albert Walton, all of Prentiss, Bonita and Jerry Rideout of Jefferson and Harvey Glidden of Oklahoma; a granddaughter, Lori Hesseltine, who she raised as her own, of Milford; a brother, Edgar McLaughlin of Las Vegas; a sister, Muriel Glidden of Augusta; 26 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by two sons, George and Johnny Glidden; two daughters, Elnora White and Lorraine Sutherland; and two husbands, Leo Glidden Sr. and Vinal Morton. Visiting hours will be private for family only 2-4 p.m. Monday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Graveside services will be held in the spring at Belden Cemetery with the Rev. Bruce Swan officiating.
