Park S, Hite, 73, of 2 Pleasant Circle, Allegheny Lutheran Home, Hollidaysburg, long associated with many activities in the city died at 7.20 p.m. yesterday in Mercy Hospital where he had been a patient since last Saturday. A director of the First National Bank since 1949, Mr. Hite was taken ill on May 14 while attending a meeting there but had subsequently improved at home, able to be about again prior to being admitted to the hospital where his condition gradually became more serious.
He was born in Roaring Spring, Sept. 3, 1889, a son of Sherman A. and Crissie (Snowberger) Hite, and on June 26, 1912, married Grace Correll Zimmerman in Altoona. Surviving are his wife, a son, Robert L.; two grandchildren, and one brother, Harold S., all of the city.
